How You Will Contribute:
Ciena’s Virtual Broadband Network Gateway team is looking for an engineer with computer Science or equivalent graduate degree to join the Quality Assurance and automation team.
- The desired candidate must have strong analytical skills and expertise in at least one scripting language, preferably Python.
- The ideal candidate would be passionate about end to end automation of testing BNG and CGNAT like Network Functions.
- Be able to understand and develop test cases for the new features being developed by our software teams.
- Strong scripting skills in Python and ability to understand end to end automation.
- Troubleshoot software issues and work with software and system engineers to identify root cause.
Opportunity:
- As a member of this geographically dispersed team, the desired candidate will have to test various components of the solution.
- The candidate will work fellow quality engineers, developers and support personnel while overseeing the quality of the solution.
- As a Test Engineer, the candidate will focus on functional testing, system testing for various features in the platform and assist in automating test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures and assist in defining performance automation requirements.
