Key Responsibilities:
- Work with software development teams to help build and maintain the underlying AWS infrastructure as well as CICD pipelines to deliver code.
- Perform software deployments and upgrades.
- Create and update infrastructure via CDK and Cloud Formation templates ensuring versioning and graceful rollback procedures
- Develop CI/CD Pipelines in conjunction with Product development.
- Monitor platform for infrastructure issues (CPU, Memory, DB performance, SQS queue depth, Docker container health, etc.).
- Experiment with new technologies and solutions to meet the constantly evolving demands of the software platform
- Automate away as much of the above as possible
Desired qualifications:
- Knowledge in any programming language
- Basic knowledge in any one language like C, C++, Java, or JavaScript
- Good communication skills.
- Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with team members
