Job Responsibilities:-
- Review the requirements, specifications, and technical design papers to offer timely and relevant comments.
- Create extensive, thorough, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Estimate, prioritize, schedule, and coordinate testing operations.
- Knowledge in developing and executing automation scripts using open source technologies.
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
- When bugs have been fixed, conduct extensive regression testing.
- Create and implement testing procedures for new and current products to fulfill customer requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to determine system needs. Monitor the outcomes of the debugging procedure.
- Investigate the reasons of non-conforming software and instruct users in implementing fixes.
- Monitor quality assurance measures such as defect density and open defect counts.
Skills Required:-
- Prior internship experience in software quality assurance.
- Understanding of software QA methodology, tools, and procedures.
- Experience creating clear, simple, and complete test plans and scenarios.
- Experience with an Agile/Scrum development approach.
- Understanding of software testing approaches, tools, and procedures
- Knowledge of automated testing tools. Knowledge with SQL and scripting is advantageous.
- Knowledge with Selenium and Java is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes
