Requirements:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
They should also have experience in DBMS such as Post Gres or Microsoft SQL Server, as well as data warehouse/datamart development.
Additionally, they should be proficient in ETL and reporting tools, core Java with knowledge of low-level parts of API like multi-threading and concurrency utilities, distributed systems functions, and design patterns and refactoring techniques.
They should have clean coding skills and excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as fluency in unit testing/testing frameworks (JUnit/Mockito) and platforms/frameworks (Spring/Spring Boot).
Experience in building micro-service solutions, web services (REST), and messaging systems is also required, along with proficiency in UNIX command line tools, agile development practices (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.), source control systems (Git), build tools, and continuous integration (Maven, TeamCity, Sonar, etc.). Knowledge of cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) is also an asset.
