Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking engineers who have a strong commitment to ensuring quality. As the quality owner of a specific product, your role will involve generating innovative ideas to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products to our valued customers. From the very beginning of each new user story, you will collaborate with the team, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our objectives and the testing procedures involved.

Job Summary:

• Proficient in manual testing of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices-based product components. 
• Skilled in manual testing of B2C, Cloud (GCP), SAAS, and Mobile-First product components.
•  Well-versed in using Postman and Swagger, with a solid understanding of API requests and responses. 
• Experience with defect tracking/management tools such as JIRA. 
• Basic knowledge of SQL is required. 
• Familiarity with open-source technologies like message brokers, databases, and caching solutions.
• Thorough understanding of SDLC and test strategies, including unit tests, regressions, manual testing, and application, web, and API testing. 
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. 
• Comprehensive understanding of functional and non-functional testing requirements for web and mobile applications. 
• Previous experience in creating test documentation, including test plans, reports, and metrics. 
• Intermediate programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Proficient in using ADB commands and tools like Charles Proxy to identify the root cause of failures.
• Proficient in server-level debugging.

Other Skills Required

• • As a QA Engineer, you should be capable of quickly familiarizing yourself with projects and efficiently carry out testing tasks within the sprints of the agile development process.
  • Ability to comprehend product solutions and develop corresponding test cases.
  • Capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases.
  • Proficient in all stages of testing, including test data creation, test environment setup, and ownership.
  • Reviewing requirement documents and creating test designs/scenarios individually.
  • Creating comprehensive test cases covering all aspects of mobile, web, and backend testing.
  • Coordinating with program management, developers, and QA lead.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
